So here is the two final products. The first one is before I outlined and the second is when I outline the very outer part of her. I didn't want to outline every single thing because I didn't want it to have that outlined cartoony feel. I also feel like I should add something else but I'm not really sure what would complete the piece.
Another Update
So, here I've gone through and done the clothes and the little minor details like the flowers. I think its coming along very well!
So, here is the beginning stages of my water color piece. I decided to use pinks, purples and blues for the main color scheme. Looking at it, I did make some mistakes with the shading and over shading of the face, but I feel like each time I get better at using water color! I really like the neck shading and the hair shading. I thought the hair was especially fun.
Another final project idea
So, this is kinda late, but I have another idea! It's something really small that I think I can finish in one class period. I want to create a water color kisaeng for my grandma. It will be a small scale thing, I want to use a colorful watercolor background that goes against a black border to make it look like a tricked out old time picture.
